The call for entries for the Ake Arts and Book Festival 2024 is out! “Finding Freedom” has been given as this year’s theme of the festival. Importantly, each creative may submit three poems, eight hundred words of fiction/ reflections or two artworks in high-res jpeg format.
As a reminder, all submissions must be original and unpublished. Send your submission to editor@akefestival.org with AR24 Submission as the subject line.
Don’t forget to attach a short description of your life in not more than seventy words. Only one submission per person is acceptable but there are no limitations on number of contributors for any particular work.
The deadline for submission is Thursday 12th September 2024. If chosen, contributors will receive two copies of Ake Review plus an honorarium fee from us. Be creative!
